MBGC LLC, trading as Mbgc Property, is responsible for personal information collected through mbgcllc.com and in connection with your stay.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide, including your name, email address, phone number, booking details, the names of people in your party, correspondence with the Booking Desk, and identity documents where verification is required. We also collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and similar log data.
2. How we use it
- To take, confirm and manage bookings.
- To take payment, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.
- To support you before and during your stay.
- To improve our site and service.
- To send marketing only where you have consented; you can unsubscribe at any time.
We do not sell personal information.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only where needed to provide the service, including with accredited operating partners such as The Place in Australia, payment and email providers, security and spam-prevention providers, customer-support and notification providers, professional advisers, and regulators or law-enforcement bodies where required by law.
4. International information handling
MBGC is a United States company and some service providers process information overseas. For Australian guests, information may be disclosed to recipients outside Australia, principally in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with applicable privacy requirements.
5. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access or correct personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to deletion, restriction, portability or objection. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
For Australian guests, you may complain to us and, if you remain dissatisfied, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. We aim to respond within 30 days.
6. Security, retention and updates
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit. No online system is completely secure. We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for bookings, support, legal, tax, accounting and security purposes.
