A smooth arrival is not about completing a long checklist at the door. It is about confirming the essentials, learning the home and giving yourself enough time to notice what you may need before the next morning.
Use the access instructions in your booking confirmation and secure the entry once you are inside. If the instructions do not match what you see, contact the Booking Desk rather than trying multiple doors, keys or devices.
Take a few minutes to locate the practical controls and safety information:
If something appears damaged, unavailable or different from the confirmed residence details, take a clear photograph and report it promptly. Early notice gives the team the best chance to help without disrupting the rest of your stay.
Test the internet on the device you will use for work. Check the route to your first appointment and identify where you will have breakfast. Set up the workspace, charge what needs charging and make sure the shower, coffee and front door are not mysteries at 7 a.m.
You do not need to organize every cupboard on day one. Start with the things that reduce friction: clothes for the week, toiletries, medication, work equipment and a small amount of food. A furnished home begins to feel useful when your essentials have a place.
